“After graduating from CPUT I had the opportunity to join Pedersen + Lennard, at the time an exciting startup, who are now recognised as a leader in the design space in South Africa. Being part of a design and production focussed business, I have gained a unique insight in how the relationship between materials, processes and machinery can drive good design.

My focus has always been on sustainability and producing quality, timeless products that add value to people's lives. I thrive on highly technical design challenges that require problem solving and focus.

Coming from a country of diversity I have witnessed the positive impact that good design can have on people from all walks of life. This has shaped my approach to design and has enabled me to develop products that resonate with its users.

Over the years, I have sought opportunities to nurture my passions outside of furniture. These include classic car restorations, engine swaps, architectural projects and many more.”
